Juice it up!!
With all of us thinking about getting fit and healthy for the New Year, how about trying these fantastic Juice recipes, not only do they taste good your body will love them!!
PAPAYA POWER
Not only refreshing, but absolutely fantastic for the digestive system.
1 papaya, peeled and deseeded
1 lemon, squeezed
Blend the papaya with lemon juice and serve with ice.
START TO THE DAY
A great combination for a breakfast juice: Providing plenty of nutrients for digestion and starting up the liver. (Excellent if over indulged the night before)
¼ pineapple, cubed
3 green apples
Chunk fresh ginger (to taste)
Juice all ingredients and serve on ice.
PASSION AND LIME
Now this will tickle your taste buds on a mid summer afternoon, especially when you feel like something a little exotic.
2 passionfruit
1 tablespoon maple syrup
1 orange, squeezed
½ lime, squeezed
2 tablespoons sorbet, gelato or natural yoghurt
Dash vanilla
Blend passionfruit, maple syrup, orange and lime juice with sorbet and vanilla. Pour into a glass; add sparling mineral water or soda water to taste. Serve with ice.
